How to Play +1 Tongue Escape โ Controls, Sliding & Escaping
How to play +1 Tongue Escape: extend your tongue to latch platforms, slide across it through the courses, train between runs, and climb the server leaderboard.
+1 Tongue Escape is a tongue-first obstacle racer: your character's tongue is both the grappling hook and the zipline. Extend it to latch a far platform, then slide along its length to cross the gap โ mess up the line and one wrong move can send you all the way back. Here is the full loop, from spawn to leaderboard.
The core loop in five moves
- Extend your tongue to reach a new platform or wall. The tip latches on surfaces within your tongue's reach โ the +Tongue value from your equipped tongue decides how far that is.
- Slide across your tongue to move through the obstacle course. The character travels along the tongue's length like a rope โ this is the game's signature movement, and mid-air gap crossings are built around it.
- Train between attempts. Treadmills in the lobby convert hold-input time into Tongue and Levels, which is what extends your reach for the next attempt.
- Race the stages. Each stage ends at a reward choice โ take the Wins and restart the loop, or push deeper. Falling offers a 19 Robux revive for six seconds; declining it restarts the stage for free.
- Watch the leaderboard. The game's own description puts it plainly: climb the leaderboards and become the best tongue master on the server โ and keep moving forward, because the race does not wait.

The loop in motion: slide, gain, keep moving โ captured from public gameplay footage, September 2026.
Reading the screen

The HUD packs everything into two edges. Left menu: Trails (cosmetic slide trails), Rebirth (the multiplier reset), Daily (the 7-day reward cards), Friends. Bottom center: Total Tongue, the Level bar with its current/required figures, and the Robux tongue-pack shortcuts. Right edge: the Codes button. Top left: your Wins trophy balance. Every guide on this site keys off one of those seven โ the beginner guide strings them into a first-hour plan surfaces โ when a guide says "open Rebirth on the left," this is the layout it means.
Movement habits that keep you alive
- Anchor before you commit. Sticky surfaces โ honeycomb walls, marked pads โ are placed as mid-route attachments. Latch, confirm your character is attached, then plan the next connection. Long speculative tongue-paths that skip anchors are how players meet walls.
- Separate the two failure types. Tip falls short = reach problem, go train. Tip reaches but the body falls = line problem, adjust the approach. More tongue does not fix collisions.
- Keep a reset habit. The stage loop returns you to Stage 1 after each payout anyway; treat every lap as a fresh line attempt rather than a loss streak.
The progression chain, in order
The intended build order is legible in the game's own systems: train to ~Level 5โ10 and clear the early stages for Wins โ buy Blueberry (1 Win) and climb the early tongue chain โ redeem the working codes for a free 15,000 Tongue and boosts โ rebirth at your first Level offer for +50% โ ride the multiplier through deeper stages toward Crystal (100 Wins) and beyond. Each step has a dedicated page โ stages, tongues, codes, rebirth โ linked from the guides hub.
FAQ
New player questions
What is the goal of +1 Tongue Escape?
Per the official description: extend your tongue to reach platforms, slide across it through the obstacle course, upgrade your tongue and abilities, race the stages without falling behind, and climb the server leaderboard. The meta-loop on top is the tongue chain, rebirths and Wins income.
Is +1 Tongue Escape free?
Yes โ it is a free Roblox experience by dot x ast with optional Robux passes (multipliers, trainers, tongue packs) and consumables. The entire Wins chain is farmable for free; the passes are accelerators.
Why does my tongue reach some walls but not others?
Reach is capped by your equipped tongue's +Tongue value, and only latchable surfaces (platforms, marked sticky walls) hold the tip. Plain decorative walls do not anchor. If the tip touches a valid surface and still slips, that is a line problem โ adjust the approach rather than blaming reach.
How many players are on a server?
Servers hold up to 16 players per the Roblox server size. The race element is shared: you see the same stages and leaderboard as everyone else in the instance.
